Film grain sat over the whole thing like a colorist had graded it. The kind of site that wins a Site of the Day badge and gets screenshotted into design-inspiration threads.

I built that award-winning website one prompt at a time — well, one real prompt, then a handful of refinements — using Claude Fable 5 inside Claude Code, connected to the Higgsfield MCP. No designer. No video editor. No After Effects license I'd have to learn. Total spend for the working draft: under three dollars in generation credits and about twenty minutes of wall-clock time.

The Skill Files That Teach Claude Cinematic Scroll

Here's the thing about frame-synced scroll: Fable is smart enough to write it, but it won't reach for the technique unless you tell it the pattern exists. That's what the skill files do.

The technique itself is conceptually simple and visually expensive. You take a short video — say a 6-second clip — and break it into a sequence of still frames. Then you map the user's scroll position to a frame index: scroll 10% down the page, you're on frame 12; scroll 50%, you're on frame 60. The video doesn't play on a timeline. Notice the structure: purpose, then the signature interaction, then the asset generation instructions, then the visual system. Fable reads that and orchestrates — it calls Seedance 2.0 for the video, Nano Banana Pro for the stills, wires the frame-sync skill into the scroll, and assembles the page.

Why those two models specifically? Seedance 2.0 is tuned for credible motion — camera paths stay fluid and subjects don't drift across the clip, which matters enormously when every frame becomes a scroll position and any jitter is magnified. Nano Banana Pro, built on Google's Gemini 3 Pro Image architecture, handles dense, reasoning-heavy prompts at up to 2K resolution with genuinely usable text rendering — so your hero stills look intentional, not AI-smeared. For fast concept iteration, Nano Banana 2 (the Gemini 3.1 Flash variant) spins out a dozen options in seconds; I use it to explore, then switch to Pro for the final.
