Most DALL-E prompts fail at brand consistency because they underspecify — this one does not. The [style_details] slot is where you lock in constraints like "no gradients," "2px stroke weight," or "Google Material-adjacent flat design," which keeps successive images coherent across a blog or product site.

The explicit "Avoid: text, watermarks, photorealism" instruction at the end is intentional and load-bearing. DALL-E defaults toward photorealism when technical subjects are mentioned; this override keeps outputs in the illustration register. Repeating the same [brand_feel] and [color_palette] values verbatim across every generation is what builds a visual system rather than a collection of one-off images.

Does this prompt work for generating a full icon set with visual consistency across multiple generations?
It gets you close, but not automatically. Consistency across separate DALL-E generations requires repeating the same [style_details] and [color_palette] verbatim in every run. Keep a saved version of those two slots and only change [subject] and [tech_elements] per icon. Because DALL-E outputs rasters (PNG), not SVGs, you will need to manually recreate any icon as a vector in Figma or Illustrator if you need scalable, editable files.
